Professional Profile Video
-
Pre-production consists of meetings to narrow down the focus of the video and develop the storyboard, we then use the storyboard to create the shooting script, planning for all production resources, and scheduling crew & talent. The more details that can be planned and accounted for during pre-production can save time and money during the production phase.
-
Production consists of the actual acquisition of video footage needed. Video can be shot on-location or in the studio. This can be a simple one-camera shoot for the on-camera interview and location b-roll to support the profile video content and purpose. It can also be a full-scale shoot with multi-camera coverage, full lighting and audio support, teleprompter, and live switching (just like a morning talk show). Sometimes a green screen is used to place talent and/or products on a virtual set in post-production.
-
Post-Production consists of digitizing all the footage captured during production, reviewing the many various takes and angles, and incorporating the selected best footage into a master timeline. Then production elements such as music, text, graphics, and supporting video elements are layered into the master timeline. Then video and audio levels are normailized to broadcast standards to create the final video product, which will then be converted into the desired delivery medium.
Cost: Although the old adage of “you get what you pay for” rings true in video production as much as it does in all things, we strive to provide the best possible product to meet your budget.
-
A simple studio shoot, edit, and deliver can take around 4 hours to produce a 30-second to 2-minute video and cost around $200-$300.
- As production values increase (special graphics, animations, virtual sets, incorporating mixed media, special camera movements, stock footage, locations, etc…), so does the time and resources required to produce final video.
- For on-location shooting, factor $100/hr plus $50/hr for each additional crew required as well as $50 per location (travel expenses may apply for locations outside a 30-mile radius from our studio).
- For studio shoots, factor $50/hr plus crew costs (either your or ours). This is the best value since we have full access to all our gear, including lights, audio, teleprompter, jib, etc....
- If outside talent is used, for on-camera, voice-over, custom graphics or animation, then the additional cost will be based on their rate scale
- Keep in mind that the more footage there is, the longer the edit session(s) will be. An editors cost is based on $50/hr.
